Have you ever been flashed?

I read a statistic once that a high percentage of females have been flashed at least once in their lives.

I guess if you get flashed it is a scary experience

I find this quite hard to believe, as the percentage is quite high ( cant remember what it was )

Yes, been flashed twice. The first time I got flashed was whilst waiting for a bus on my way home from work. The guy was stood behind me and when I turned round his genitalia were clearly hanging out from his trousers. The second time was on the tube in London.
I also got groped in London a few years back whilst on my way to watch a band at the Astoria. Some guy grabbed my breasts and squeezed them. I felt completely violated.

I think the statistics could probably be higher. I failed to report both of the incidents in which I was flashed and the incident in which I was groped. I felt too embarassed. The stupidity on my part is that they could've of done that again to someone more vulnerable than me - like a teenager/child and really caused them distress. I just hoped that never happened.

I guess I'm quite unlucky.

Yes twice.

1st - Was on a schoolbus.
I looked out the window to spot a man flashing us from the other side of the carpark. Luckly we were all about 15/16- ish so we weren't too traumatised.

2nd - I was walking across the mountain where I live with 2 friends. It's pretty public and a few people walk along the same path so we didn't think we were in danger. We sort of expected to see other people but what we didn't bank on was a naked man running full pelt up this path clutching his clothes for dear life whilst his bits flapped in the breeze.

Neither of them left me with any lasting psychological damage so I'm grateful for that. In fact the 2nd time was quite funny.

I have been flashed twice. Once when I was about 14-15 with a friend in a local park during the day. The second time was when I was 18 and walking with a friend on the street, during the day. It's discusting, peverted and on the occasion when I was 14, it was scary. I still can't believe that it happened in the middle of the day in a very public place!

My scary experience was when I was flashed by some fat kid at school on the mile run. My eyes still hurt from that. Also when I was like age 6 two boys pulled it out in front of me to go to the bathroom those pigs. Plus I saw my husbands little thing at age 9 on the bus. Really you never know when people are going to flash you the best thing to do is point in laugh. lol!

Three times in one year, when I was 17, and once when I was 23. A friend had the audacity to ask what I was wearing. Jeans and a jumper each time - not that THAT makes any difference whatsoever. Stupid cow.

Anyway, the 2nd time was at 2pm on a well used footpath next to our 6th form - part of an all girls school. A few seconds after it happened, I bumped into a group of my friends. I told them what happened, and just then the guy reappeared. He didn't bank on having to run away from a bunch of 17 year old girls screeching at him that they'd catch him and chop 'it' off and shove 'it' where the sun doesn't shine.

The school caretaker went on the prowl looking for him. Unfortunately the worthless moron got away.

I was just glad that it had been me, who could handle it, and not one of the 11 year olds who also used the path (it was the way we got to school from the bus stop). News travelled fast - a couple of hours later, on the bus home, a load of 2nd years were on about someone in the 6th form getting flashed. You should have seen their faces when I told them it was me - they shut up pretty fast.

The 3rd time - my housemate got seriously drunk, called me into his room, flashed me, then apologised immediately!!!

Yes, just as we were walking through a very pretty area of York. And at the very moment of the flashing my mum said 'Oh i wish Id brought my camera' Lol. It would have been scary if Id been alone, or in an isolated spot I think

Well, not exactly, but kindof...when I was about 13 or 14 years old, my two friends and I were walking home from school and there was a man sitting in his car (right where we could see him) with no pants on!! And yes, we saw EVERYTHING! of course we called the police! (Don't know what happened with that though. That was many years ago, now.)

yeah; i was flashed by my neighbour who lived opposite me (our bedrooms faced each other)

and at school in year 8 our class teacher (miss murphy) unintentionally flashed us: she wore a skirt to school & sat with her legs open. She usually wore trousers, I think she just forgot...

Science class had those high metal tables with lots of space below the worktop.

Yes, it was a boy's school, No she wasn't embarrassed, in fact she was more cool about it than we were! she didn't even blush. But you knew despite the silence that although the class was burned into our photographic memories, nobody learned anything that day.

Yes I have been flashed. Didn't bother me a bit. I thought it was funny to see this hairy dude wearing nothing but a smile. I guess it could have been tramatic, but thank god it was harmless. Just a freak that likes to flash and run.
