Take some gauze and put it underneath the toenail to prop it up. Put antibacterial cream on it as well to prevent infection (which happens alot in ingrown toenails).
If it doesn't seem to be getting better in the next couple of days then talk to a doctor. If the toe becomes red and feverish then go to the ER..that means it's definitely infected and it needs to be taken care of asap.

Over less painful to cut a V into the toenail (recomended to keep them that way if recurring). But sometimes I have filed the place where it is bending in too much in order be more effective (making it less rigid).

See a podiatrist (foot Doctor) and they will probably cut it out to the root. They will try to see if this will get it to grow right. If after a few times it doesn't work (only sometimes this happens), they may remove the nail completely. Good Luck!!

Cut it and keep up with maintenence on your feet it will hurt but only for a minute it will better once it is gone.
