It sounds like you would enjoy receptionist/admin. assistant, some kind of customer service tasks as well, like a call center for a bank in your area, a catalog cust. serv. rep, taking orders people place over the phone, or online. Or, it sounds like you could work as a secretary for someone high up like a CEO, etc., and if you could work for a company that is where you could possibly set up your own filing system, etc. that you would feel really good about. Maybe you could consider getting into business management classes, and consider starting your own company for helping people get organized, even iinterior decorating. May I suggest also, if you could make an appt. with a comm. college advisor, to see what classes they have to offer, and to help you decide what kind of career you want. Wish you the best. Take care.

Maybe a career in working for a non-profit organization would be for you. Go to: http://www.careers-in-business.com/nonprofit.htm
This website has all the different positions, salaries and what experience you need to have. Salaries range from $15K to $100K. The site notes: Business skills are a distinct advantage.
Basic knowledge of accounting, finance, management, information systems, advertising, and of course, marketing will be an important differential advantage. Traditionally, the non-profits possessed poor business skills and only recently have business skills been recognized for their importance.
GOOD LUCK!

Hmmm, you sound like someone fit for a magazine editor or something. That has office type work, and it's organized and creative.

the best thing for you to do is get a general business degree, you can take that pretty much anywhere and do anything with it. Once you decide what kind of business you want to be in (like marketing) you can always go back an amend your degree.

You know, I went to college and got my degree in Business Administration and here I am, twenty years later getting my Master's in Education.
Your goals will change as your life changes. Don't assume that because you go into one field that you have to stay there for life.
Be flexible and seize the opportunities that come your way.
