Your engine is running too lean (not getting enough fuel). Also makes it run hot - could lead to engine damage.

Geez, a lot of people running older bikes. If your bike is fuel injected and newer, (2006 and up) white plugs means it's running as intended by the manufacturer and in accordance with the EPA. Yes, it's running lean, probably 14.6 to 1. Fuel tuners are available (albeit illegal for street) they range in type and run from $100 (load based) to $1000 (complete ECU replacement with dynamic self, auto tuning features.) Retuning to a 12.5 - 13 to 1 mixture becomes critical if you change intake or exhaust assemblies, as they will further lean your mixture and your engine will melt.

Ask any engine expert, and they will tell you the plugs should be a blue gray color. If not, their to hot of heat range or engine is running very lean.. Being able to read the plugs will tell you what is going on with your engine. All spark plug companys have charts showing you what I just stated.

It means the engine is running good if it was running bad there would be a little bit of black on it.

Maybe running a little lean, if it runs okay, then I see no problem. Actually, it might be better for your fuel economy!
