There's a special beach that I take my dog to when I need some time to think and heal. I also like to snuggle up with a book (takes my mind off of bad things) and my pet rats, who are very comforting for me. All in all, secluded places are good for a walk, and pets can be extremely good at bringing you up.

I go to an art museum, the natural history museum or a funny/musical movie. The musuems are good, because if you take it seriously, you can lose yourself complelely in the art. Some movies do the same. Shrek, Dream Girls, Ray are the types of movie that can keep you going after the movie is over. Adventures are ok, but stay away from tragedies. The key is finding something that will make you think after it's over. Don't go to "the bottom of the bottle." Your feelings go with you, intensify and are still there when you come to--along with a pounding headache.

I tend to seek out the wise . They usually a
give me an alternate view ( through suggestion ) and open my mind up to a new perception .
I believe that feelings are a state of mind

I used to go to a certain video store but now that's gone...
I guess I don't really have a place now, except inside myself. I've noticed I'm withdrawing myself from the world... I guess it's easier that way.
What's the point in going to a place that will inevitably leave or be destroyed anyways?

I have a nice long soak in the tub. Or even better, I'll go to the local pool when I know it will be really quiet and I'll just float. It always makes me feel better.

I usually talk to my best friend whenever I'm feeling depressed or anxious and talked to her about anything because she's always there. My mom is always there for me too to talk to about anything going on in my life.

go for a bike ride on the rail-trail. Pedalling hard gets rid of negative engery and the scenery reminds me of what is real in this world.
