how do you take a battery out of an ipod mini?

I recommend you not to try or attempt to do that because if you do it could cause serious damage to the ipod and you could damage the harddrive or the processor while trying to get the battery off, remember that it is fragile, my advice is that you go to apple computer in california or send it to them so that they replace the battery, if thats what you want. Hope this helps.

You have to send it back to manufacture for battery replacement
