okay well i am an american and i have to do a project over Dublin, Ireland. but i need help with, how is the most famous person from there? and what are the top 5 places you would like to vist there? think as a tourist!. please help me by putting some helpful websites. thanks!

the most famous person from ireland would of course be st. patrick. another person that comes to mind is bono of u2. bono has been responsible for starting charities all over the world and is known worldwide as is the band of u2. Concerning the places to visit, dublin is the most famous city and most progressive. Cork city is also very famous and is the second largest city in Ireland. While Belfast is not part of the Republic of Ireland it is also a great city to visit. Dundalk is also a city that comes to mind as my ancestors are from there. Dundalk is a progressive city as well and is a place people like to go to. Galway is also a great place to verture!

Just browsing these questions and came upon yours. I'm an American also. Go to Dublin Tourism. It lists a lot of different places to visit. I visited a lot of them while there. I would pick Trinity College and the Book of Kells as one place, Dublin Castle, The General Post Office, Christ Church. Call or visit a travel agent and they may have some brochures for you to look at.
