That's what the liberals have been desiring for a while. They never met a tax they wouldn't hike!

I absolutely believe that the government is trying to control each & everyone of us! Their control runs from the gas pump to how & what you vote for or against. Most bills that are passed by government do us little good. They do help the big interestes & the military; not you or I. We are just here to supply the money to keep things rolling along & to make us think that we really do have a voice in America. We have had no voice for generations! Not just with this President, although he is more forward in his take over than most past Presidents have been.

In my opinion, The US government is not fully behind it, but it is a coincidence that our President is the son of one of the biggest US oil barons, and heir to an enormous oil fortune that has been passed down to him generation to generation.
I think this is something we need to remember when asking ourselves why our president does certain things.
Regarding raising gas prices, this is the nature of big business in America. The fat cat corporations aren't regulated on how far or how long they can reem the American public.
We are viewed by them as cattle that unfortunately have no choice but to pay the prices they demand we pay.
It is a way to control the American people, and that is why I think there is a connection between the Bush oil baron family, and our president being part of that family.

you know your talking out of your as* when you cite the raising gas prices as your source to prove your accusation...
how are gas prices raising when they are currently the lowest they have been since like 2003?
do you live in a box? do you even own a car?
probably not, that or you dont buy gas... which i imagine would be difficult...

I might see the point in your question if the U.S. government had a large tax on your gas, but they don't the states tax gas much more than they do.

Gas prices were raised becasue of the lack of gas, not the government trying to control us. Simple supply and demand.
