i know that most fine dining restruants pay like $10/hour but do you have to be older? im 16

Depends on state requirements and the environment where you would be a hostess. Most family diners you would have to be about 16.

At least 16-probably 18. I would think it would depend on if the establishment serves alcohol at the tables or not. I would request that to make sure, please check with the health dist. office in your local area. They are also the dept. that check on restaurants. Take care.

Holly you have to be at lease 16 and you can't serve or go near any alcohol in the restaurant you work for....
