Ok so I broke my nose a little when I was in 3rd grade in PE, and now I am 15. There was a little (not much)bone or something protruding from my nose on my right. It healed naturally, but there is still a fairly noticeable bump on one side(to me). The other side of my nose is near perfect and this annoys me every now and then.
ps: mom is a doctor-but not a plastic surgeon.
I would like to know what the best thing to do is? Something helpful would be nice. Thanks!!!!

Plastic surgery is very safe nowadays. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges Tummy tuck, Liposuction surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Fly2india4health Consultants. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. I have also read that they arrange financing for international patients, as all surgery is not covered by insurance or by the stinking NHS.

They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor I personally believe that your Tummy tuck, Liposuction surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of Healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

My cousin got her Tummy tuck, Liposuction surgery done there and she is more than very happy with the results. She is all praise for Fly2india4health Consultants. She paid just 20% of the cost what she was quoted in USA and it was like a wonderful vacation for her. Hope this helps

it doesn't really matter as long as it's okay with your parents. But by law if you wanna do it without your parents then it's 18. this is really weird- i had a friend who broke her nose like a year ago and had a semi-crooked nose. So, she got plastic surgery on it (of course with parents consult) and looks better, although she could only get it done with her parents permission if she researched on it. Bottom line: It is okay to have plastic surgery at any age. HOWEVER, there will be some risk factors to think about, like it not ending up the way you want to and everything.

WELL good QUESTIOn
the youngest someone can have plastic surgery is just after being born.
I think you should be thankful that you do not have some severe facial deformity like treacher-collins.

That being said, most doctors will not operate on a fifteen year old girl strictly for aesthetic purposes (no medical reason, just for appearance sake). You see, plastic surgery is SURGERY. And it can carry serious risks, including death (not trying to scare you).

I have broken my nose 3 times and I have learned to accept my nose just the way it is and I think that you will be happier if you do the same!

I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU
GOOD LUCK

I will advise you to have plastic surgery only after 18. At that age the body is fully developed. Good plastic surgeons advise their patients on the same lines too.

im sure your nose is just fine! but if it is really bothering you then you can get it fixed whenever you want to, there is no minimum age. however, with that said you will probably have to have the consent of your parents in order to get the procedure done until you are 18 or so. If your parents dont mind you can get it done as soon as you find a doctor to do it. make sure you do your research and that it is something you really want to do.

It is best to have plastic surgery after 18 because at that age the body is fully grown. I think you should wait till then.

First, realize that perfection is not necessary for beauty. You are beautiful. Second, live with it until you are completely grown (18-20). Your body may change and any surgery may make it worse than it is now. If you are still unhappy, have the surgery when you are able to pay for it yourself.
