Not got much of an opinion about Nirvana like the others but this link may help you understand what it is and if maybe YOU can decide if there is such a thing and if you think you could possibly find it.....

Hello,
(ANS) Nirvana is a concept invented by humans but like god it doesnt exsist. Therefore in my opinion its a total & utter waste of time talking about, or trying to reach something that is impossible to reach or experience. Nirvana is like saying how big is the universe? nobody knows!!, so are you going to spend the rest of your life worrying about wheather you will ever reach nirvana. Frankly I'm definately NOT. Life is far to valuable to waste my energy on concepts like that.
i.e. If you meet the Buddha on the road kill him for me?
The only thing that exsists is "Now" this moment nothing else, the true challenge in life is can you exsist in the now??? And I dont mean think about it either?

Nirvana means no more suffering. We have to reconnect to our eternal Maker and real self to get nirvana. We are not these bodies, minds jobs, races, intellects. etc. We are eternal spirit souls, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul, also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. The quickest and easiest way to come to our constitutional position and become free from all suffering and illusion is to chant the Maha Mantra- go to harekrishnatemple.c for details Read Bhagavad Gita As it is By Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada- gives all knowledge how to become fully self realized. I am so glad I found this or I would be a wreck in this crazy place.
