should i wait for all the kinks to be worked on? i recently purchased a laptop (5 months ago) and it is vista ready. it looks neat i have no real necessity to upgrade i just like to keep up to date with technology.

I would wait a while. Take a lesson from all the people who were in such a hurry to download Internet Explorer 7, and are now experiencing problem after problem with it. Vista just came out, wait a year, or so, for some of the major bugs to be panned out.

lol, you have not learned from win 3.1 to win95, to win98 and on and on... vista is still only a fix to win 3.1. bill gaytes is stealing from us and getting rich while selling garbage.

why do it when xp is already pretty stable and vista costs so much, unless ur getting basic which isn't that good.
