How many people play sports and have asthma or just have asthma?

Chad Cordero of the Washington Nationals is asthmatic. In fact, he decided to take the risk of not using her inhaler for the course of the World Baseball Classic last year in order to not violate the rules while playing for Team USA.
Mike Fetters (a former MLB player) is also asthmatic. He had the stuff to be a starting pitcher, but not the stamina to do so.
The IOC and other sports federations allow the use of inhalers, despite the fact that they are corticosteroids (which are normally listed as PED's), with medical documentation.

There are alot of people who play sports and have asthma. I just don't get why this question is in baseball.
I have asthma, but i'm in good shape so it doesn't bother me. I also play for JV Baseball in my school.

I have asthma, and played 4 sports through middle school. It doesn't slow people down much.

Not me. Sometimes people with asthma get steered away from sports or any physical activity that might make it worse when they are in grade school. If you have it I suggest u use that nebulizer and inhaler before engaging in sports to prevent an attack or whatever your doc says.

I do have asthma. Played baseball from t-ball through high school and American Legion.

i have asthma....i remeber when it was really bad when i was a kid...it made me suck when i was running for PE class...i still get it now and then..
