As for me, I would have to say no, hindsight not withstanding.

I have no idea what "23-skidoo" translates over to. My guess is: "Hey, I'm loaded up on bootleg gin with anti-freeze in it."

It's either that, or it was a term Stalin use to use when he planned to take over the Politburo now that Lennin was dead, and it just caught on.

It's been rumored that Mussolini used the term on 2 occasions in 1926, and they did not create the desired effect of the crowd he was addressing and discontinued it.

You would have felt no more silly then saying SUP? And OMG and LOL and other fadish things. You will look back on these things in 40 years and say how silly they were.

Interesting question. See 2 references below that suggest it means "beat it," "scram," "hit the road," or a variety of other ways to say, "leave!"
