u.s. does not have any traditionalist conservatives. surely conservatism derives from the British 'severe Tory' custom. while the revolt traitors drove out the regulation-abiding voters during the yank Revolution, the United Empire Loyalist refugees took classic Toryism with them. u.s. in no way progressed something like it by employing itself afterwards.
