is it ok to take a slash whilst on the phone ?

...For the person who doesn't know, a slash is slang for urinating... I think that if you're on the phone to the bank or your electricity company you need to make sure that you can still concentrate on peeing whilst holding your bill/statement.
I think you should also state you might be taking a pee, like they do on customer service lines when they say "your call might be recorded"...

Yeah, of course it is! In fact I often do while I'm on the phone to my girlfriend. The trick is not to let the person on the phone hear you flush the loo, so speak loudly and walk away quickly as you flush!

After all, it's basic bodily functions we all do - no point getting too hung up about it!

I'm sure it is - I was on the phone to a mate once, & they just happened to be doing just that when I was talking to them, & I could even hear them flush the loo as well, so I suppose it's entirely acceptable.

I go further - I make sure I need a really big dump before calling my mother. The only downside is that she never shuts up long enough to hear the splash!!
