It's scripted but some of the injuries are real.

A lot of the moves are real, You can't pick some one up and throw them down with it being fake, but the ring is really bouncy to take away some pain. It is played out, which means there is a script that they have to go by. Thats where all the drama comes. I know all this, and I still watch it... Even knowing how played out it is, I like it.

The outcome of each match is predetermined. But when a 300 lb wrestler picks up another 300 lb wrestler and drops him to the ground that is not fake. They train for a very long time to learn how to do that without injuring themselves to badly but somebody does end up getting hurt. This sometimes leads to the abuse of pain killers which had been known to cause problems with addiction.

Let's put it this way. The matches and the communications and such are scripted. The outcome is predetermined. However, every move they make, there is some sort of pain involved. Think about it, when they get slapped across the chest 5 times, you don't think that hurts? That is why there is a training facility in Atl, GA to learn how to avoid getting hurt while in those matches.

yes to a certain degree its scripted so the winners of the matches are predetermined but the injurys and pain the wwe superstars feel is real

Yes it is, i have friends who used to represent them and told me this. Each fight is scripted but the pain the wrestlers feel is real...ouch!

THe blood they get is caused by them cutting themselves with tiny razor blades ;)
