what does pubic hair and a relationship have to do with it?
A preference more like it.
My opinion is that pubic hair is fine. It is natural and obviously meant to be there for hygienic reasons.
During sex, you have a soft landing, and don't get gravel rash on your face. It's easier to part, and you have something nice to play with. A woman with pubic hair smells better too.
You can get rid of the loose ones by gently tugging on them.
For my own preference tho, I trim and shave the sides so I don't get unruly down there.

That's going to depend on the woman! Some like it smooth and bare, others like it hairy and natural, and still others might like it another way! There's no consensus on pubic hair for lesbians- it's a personal preference.

Some men love it. Mine does, I guess I am lucky - so I don't have to shave and he complains if I do! I find it a bit odd if men like shaved women - it is like liking little girls. Don't do anything just because he said something like that to you. In the end, it is your body, and if my boyfriend was the other way round and didn't like me unshaven, I still wouldn't shave. It is your body and your business, you are the one who has to live with it 24 hours a day!

A little adult, but as a gay male I will say this. I accidentally my lesbian friend in the shower with hair (down there.) I thought it was cool. Although i am gay, I dont think hairless looks right down there on anybody.
