There are better reasons to die for than for just being obese.
Considering your height & wt. your Body Mass Index is 36 while normal limit is 24-25. Thus there is no doubt that you are grossly overweight but not so much that you will die. At 21 it takes a lot of effort to die than at say 61. There are many people whose BMI would exceed even 45. So have heart! Consider the following favorable factors.
1.You are very young..
2.The very fact that you are scared of dying means you will do anything to survive and that indirectly shows your will-power/ determination.
3.Hopefully you are not a smoker and do not consume alcohol regulary.

Now let us take an objective look at your problem.
1.If you have already been dieting, then there could be some metabolic reason for weight gain. As somebody has suggested, get your thyroid tests done.
2.I would also advise you to get complete lipid profile done along with your blood sugar and urine tests. These tests are a little expensive but nothing compared to the price you would be paying by consequent diseases as a result of this obesity. I think Thyrocare offers a very good package for these tests. Visit www.thyrocare.com
3.If the tests are positive (i.e. you do have some systemic problems), follow the physician’s advice religiously. Most likely you will have elevated lipid levels. Do not panic. There are very good medicines available to control these. Doctor will advise you a complete weight reduction regime. BUT IF THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH YOUR BODY CHEMISTRY, DO NOT TAKE MEDICINES TO REDUCE YOUR WEIGHT.
4.If the tests are negative – then your problem stems from an imbalance of diet and lack of calorie burning exercise.
5.List down what you eat everyday. And find out how many calories you are consuming. You can take a dietician’s help in this. Assuming that you are consuming approx. 2500 calories, you have to plan a two-pronged approach.
6.Firstly reduce the total calorie count say by 10 %. Then gradually to 1800 .
a.The source of calories is very important Take doctor’s advice but typically, most of your saturated fats will have to be cut down. Increase your protein intake (chicken, fish, egg-white, soybean nuggets without much oil or spices ) and keep Carbohydrates to a moderate level. Eat lots of green vegetables & soups. Palak / lauki (white gourd) soup with garlic is highly recommended Reduce salt consumption to a minimum.
b.Increase roughage in your diet. This not only acts as a filler (making you eat less), but also decreases fat absorption. Green vegetables like cabbage, Gawar beans, carrots, spinach, methi (fenugreek) all provide the same. You can also try to add a little-bit of Sat-isabgol with a little rice and buttermilk while finishing your dinner.
c. Avoid rice / white bread/ bakery products Avoid sweet fruits & fruit juices also.
d.The frequency of meals will have to be increased, taking small quantities each time. This is easier said than done.
7.Concurrently you must start burning calories. Walking is the best exercise to begin with. With your weight, jogging may cause you more harm. Walk everyday about 5 kms. This will consume approx. 230 calories.
8.Drink lots of water. I will also recommend Hot water like tea particularly after each meal (not just warm), as Chinese do. . Also have all your dinner by 7/ 7:30 pm and do not eat drink anything after that (except hot water). Remain standing for 15 minutes after every meal.
9.Cut down your sugar intake in tea / milk (Only skimmed milk- cow’s milk is advised) Use sugar substitutes like Equal/ sugar-free. Drink light black tea or if you can afford, green Chinese tea.
10.Thus you will achieve a total calorie reduction by way of diminished intake & increased consumption by approx. 500 per day.
11.Once you start achieving reduction, plan higher aerobic exercises ,including jogging or playing some game like badminton. Gradually you increase your exercise to consume at least 500 calories, keeping the diet at 1800-2000 level.
12.Restrict your Computer / TV time to just 90 minutes per day. This could be a SERIOUS cause of your obesity.
13.Engage yourself in a hobby like gardening, cycling etc. (PC & TV watching are addictions- not hobbies) that calls for physical activitity and that you will enjoy in the ling run.
14.Patience is the key. Do not expect any miracles in the first month.

Have I said too much ? Well a weighty problem demands an equally heavy answer. But make light of your weight and you will succeed . Good luck

Are you looking to die? Certainly, and I say this with kindness, if you continue on this path, you are not going to feel good (physically and mentally) and you may have various complications from being over-weight.

I too have struggled and struggled with a weight problem for more than half my life time. Overtime, I became quite knowledgeable about various diets and about body chemistry, what it takes to lose weight and keep it off. Thus far, I have lost 40 lbs. of the 70 that I want to lose.

The first key is to be determined and be consistent about that determination. It may take you a year or two to get to your goal but you have to have "the fighting attitude" in order to get there and patience about the process. The second key is to speed up your metabolism. You need to find some physical activity (or a few) that you enjoy doing and are willing to do it consistently. I have a stationary bike that I enjoy using while watching television. A lot of people choose walking because you don't need any equipment and you get out into the fresh air. You say you have been exercising a lot and you are not losing weight from it. Its possible that you are not eating the right foods, exercising within two hours of eating (which has an effect on burning fat), or you may have a thyroid problem (for which you need to seek medical assistance). Next, you have to change your eating routine. I found low carbohydrate diets most effective for me (like the South Beach Diet or Atkins diet -.you can buy a book). Don't do diet pills! You need to drink a lot of water (at least 8-10 tall glasses a day); without it, you will not lose weight on any diet.

It is hard. I got good and angry at myself before I was able to bring myself to the determination needed. I hope that you will be successful...and most of all, feel good and be well.

I have been fighting with my weight for over a year.No matter what i did the weight kept going up.I tried Diets, pills, exercise, went for a physical.Doctors found nothing wrong. They wanted to put me on medication, but the side effects were not worth it.
I was getting so depressed.I decided to do some research on the internet. Finally I found my miracle.I found a site about the ph factor(mortersupplements.com).Then I remembered when I first met my husband he had a set of tapes that talked about ph balance.I found it upstairs.
It has alot to do with acidity, and alkalinity.I tested myself and found that my system was highly acidic.By doing what they suggest the numbers on the scale are finally heading backwards.Ive lost 10 pounds in less than 2 weeks. My fluid retention is gone,my face has a healthier color.
If you just type in things like-The ph balance. The ph miracle,
you just might find an answer to your prayers.
Once you balance your ph you cant get fat or too skinny, you cant even get sick.I hope you look into this becayse I really believt this will work for you!Good Luck!!

You won't die if you just eat healthy and drink lots of water. If you feel healthy that is the first step. Just eat smaller meals a day and spread out those meals to five times a day. drink about 8 glasses of water a day and exercise, like fast paced walking or lifting weights. When you exercise and lift weights your muscles should hurt while your muscles your body is burning calories. Before you exercise take Vitamin C and Omega 3-6-9 that helps in the burning of calories and fat. Cut the carbohydrates and processed sugars from your diet and eat more proteins. Cut the junk food and eat more nutritious snacks like fruit. Don't bother with diet pills or Jenny Craig. Just ask a nutritionists or the local health unit. Stay positive and don't be discouaged.

Well i was as big as u are now.. even more, used to weigh 275pounds .. what i did is that i used to walk for 2 hours everyday.. and started a diet. took it slowly with patience.

dont use any diet pills, and dont do any surgery. these things would cause cancer, and will wreck ur body.

set clear and easy targets.. lets say u want to lose 5pounds a week ..
each week try it.. sometimes u will succeed, sometimes u wont. but after 3 to 4 weeks.. u'll see that u almost lost 20 pounds.. do that for a couple of months, and u'll reach an ideal weight.

one more advice, stick with ur friends when they're full, and stay away from them when they're hungry. and always eat at home.

any more assistance, i'll be happy to help u.

Hi, Im 13 too! I know exactly what you're talking about! I was like that for at least 9 months and I still have slight feelings of sadness/depression, I still am very hyper and my brain is constantly buzzing, and I used to think about how regretfull everyone would be if I died and how sorry people would be and I think I know the answer to your problems and please don't get mad at me for saying this...I think you have ADD or ADHD. I have ADD and when I was diagnosed the docter said people (especially teens with a high load of stress...even silly, made up stress) have anxiaty which leads to sadness. The best way to deal with this is go to a psycholigist or a docter and ask them about it. They will help you a lot!!! I'm now happy, my mom and I have a better relationship, and my grades are a lot better! I can now talk to people about this because I know I'm not crazy and I know what's going on. I wish you the best of luck! I hope I helped! -Julia =)

You don't need money to eat less and go for a walk. You have to start taking care of yourself. You can do it! You don't need surgery or expensive diets, just control what you eat now and start getting some exercise. Good luck to you. You have to want more for yourself.

No put in your mind you will not die! God give you life no body give you life so why you worry about die you live in present, so don't worry about dieing. Act your self and do as i tell you very simple thing and you have to do it your self no body doing for you o k. when you weak up in morning weak up about 6 to 7am not later than that and do not eat later than 7.30pm. first thing in the morning do not wash your face or mouth and drink 4 glass of water than do your tooth brush immediately do not wait. if you can not drink 4 glass than start with 2 glass of water than slowly increase it after brush do not put in your mouth for 45mints, wait for 45 mints than have a break fast, after break fast and dinner do not drinking any water for 45 mints and do not eat later than 7.30pm. remember you should at-less 8 glass of water a day in total. note: when you start this you might get cold first than it will go or reduce water until cold goes. with this it can reduce your weight and help with many problems. go to Dr and check for your thyroid, hormones some time that can make you fat.

well 230 is not that bad. if you can not stop eating it's okay. what you need to do is start walking every morning and stop being so lazy. if you start a routine every morning you will eventually loose that weight. my advice is: do not use a scale, instead use a tape measurement. some times when you start exercising you develope muscle and you will increase weight and you will get demotivated. so do it.
