My school is having the Secret garden play,we havent done many plays like this, they were usually things such as Robin Hood or Tom Sawyer.I was both the title charaters, but this year I have some doubts,I know that if I dont try out,I will have regrets, but If do,I still might?Any thoughts? Is it a good play?

i think you should try out, but let someone else be the lead role this time. you sound very talented, and if you like to act - go for it! i have read the book and its a little boring, but a play is a play i guess. you should go to acting sschool or something you sound really good.

at my school, one of the girls got the lead 2 years in a row. some people thought it was out of favouritism, and they were a bit dissapointed.

It's a great book. I'd ask to see the script to see if you like it. If you decide to try out and you haven't read the book, I would so you can get a feel for the part.
