A great first food for baby mollies is baby brine shrimp. You can buy it frozen in most pet stores. They will also do quite well from crushed up flake food, but it can take them a day or so to recognize that as food.

A micro sword is a good plant for your tank, but unless you are ready to learn all about keeping aquatic plants, I would suggest you start off with some jave moss. It's very hardy, lives well under a wide variety of conditions and requires no special considerations.

The "seeds" the above poster is refering to are Aponogenton sp. bulbs. Those plants are sold as bulbs often just as tulips are for an outdoor garden. They are a bit trickier than java moss, but if you have good light on the tank they would make a nice addition. One plus to those is they often bloom out of the top of the tank soon after sprouting from the bulb.

I had some mollies in a tank once, and I can't remember what I fed buuuut. I remember using these seeds that make a plant grow inside the tank that your fish are in. They are these little brown seeds about the size of the end of your finger, my fish loved to rub up on them. I got them at wal-mart, so i'm pretty sure that they can be sold anywhere. And they grow to be about 10" so take that into consideration also. Sorry I couldnt help with the food!

I feed my fry freeze dried brine shrimp till they are a few weeks old then i feed then freeze dried blood worms and frozen blood worms and frozen brine shrimp.Try to find a find that is high in protein. Flake foods are not the best food for raising fry very little protein in it. Good luck with the babies. Any type off plants will be fine in your tank.

at the starting up, you should positioned it in a separate field, so as that the different fishes do not attempt to devour it. next, because that is so tiny, it would want to have issues eating the traditional nutrition you provide your different fishes. so that you may want to attempt some "Tubifex cubes"(they ought to have it at your nearest petshop. those cubes are enormously enormous, yet what you pick to do is to thear them appart so that they develop into little products(apparently like dirt). i wish I helped!! :D
