i used tampons form my first period and have used ever since. you will know what you are most comfortable with, many people think pads are a bit un hygienic and prefer tampons also tampons are a lot more convenient and don't stop you from doing normal day to day things comfortably such as exercises and swimming. just make sure you read the leaflet in closed in the tampon box to ensure you are using them properly and changing them at least every 8 hours make sure you also get the right size suitable for your flow, at 12 i think the light flow should be appropriate.

this is perfectly normal! If you have not gottne your period yet than it will come soon. The next itme you go to the doctor ask them about it and they can anwser about when it will come. Some people are only comfortable with tampons and that is normal too. But you are not supposed to wear them to bed at night so you should consider trying a pad when you dont have your period. Just so that you can get used to the feeling without the hastle.

good! i started using a tampon right when i started its great (not wearing a pad) u don't feel like ur walking around with your pants wet good for u

that's okay! if you use tampons, just be careful. nothing says you have to use a pad!

Well, i am 12 as well, and dont use one . i havent even had my period yet.its okay!youl grow! ME 2!!!!! LOL
