I agree, the stars are of NO value...
If they do keep them, at least let us get some points (a point system, the more stars the more points) Like they do the "thumbs up" points when we get a "Best Answer"
I am sure marketing knows we don't like them, just wonder if they will listen?

Stars is just a popularity gimmick to show you like a question and I've noticed people who ASK questions are more likely to award the "best answer" points to whoever stars their question.
As you can see, I refuse to do that.
People are supposed to give stars if they like the question... which is silly since we can't show disapproval! If they're going to make us give "stars" to good questions, they should let us give "moons" (a bare butt symbol) to the "bad" questions!!
AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT!
