my battery died in my car. I cant open the trunk with key to get to the battery. How do you open it

Open the hood. Apply 12 volts to the jump point there with the negative to a good ground bolt on the engine. Now open the trunk.

The trunk should be unlocked when the doors are unlocked. There is a handle just up from the license plate that you can push to open the trunk. If that doesn't work, flip the lever on the back of the rear seat, let the seat down, take a flashlight, and crawl into the trunk, you can open it from inside.

If the seats fold down, there is a release inside the trunk.
