You don't have to go to college to become an actress. College is a little late to be starting an actress life. You should have started as a child, but it is never too late I guess.

College isn't going to help you much in your quest to be an actress, it is in who you know, and how good your connections are. For every actress that makes it in Hollywood, 10 others failed.

Universty is a 4 year venture for any Bachlors degree.
A Bachlors in Fine Arts from calarts takes 4 years and is a well repected performance program.
