I've actually had this cage for a pet hampster. Honestly the slats were a bit large and the whole cage itself was a bit rickity. It was a pain to take apart and clean. I ended up replacing it with a solid cage made by the same company. Mice are a bit more tricky then Hampsters and can squeeze through very small spaces... I would recommend finding something VERY secure for your mice and make sure they have plenty of nesting areas.

I don't recommend that cage at all.

Update:
I searched on their site and found the cage that I own and its a bit larger then the cage you were considering but not as tall. It also has the option to add on; tubes, nests ect.

Cages need to be big enough for the two mice to have room to run and play. Check out the cages at the pet shops and see how they keep their mice. Hope that will help.

Looks like a great place for two mice. Read the reviews. Two rats, maybe not, two mice, should be great. have fun!
