The passage is basically saying be true to yourself and do the right thing.
Stand up for those who are true to themselves, but walk away when they are doing wrong.
Don't just follow blindly behind if everyone is doing the wrong thing, be brave enough to walk away.

"Stand with anybody that stands right."

If someone is doing the right thing then it's ok to go along with it. It's ok to suuport them.

"Stand with him while he is right and part with him when he goes wrong."
Ok so if the person you support is now doing wrong then you need to part ways or no longer stand with them. Basically it's saying right is right and wrong is wrong. It's ok to support people and back them up when they are right, but when they are wrong it's time to leave. Example: Your friend is throwing a party to raise money for a good cause. Stand by him and support him. At the party there are illegal activities going on (drug use, underaged drinking), now it is time to part ways and leave the party because this wrong.

The translation is to remain true to yourself and your beliefs. Be a leader, not a follower. If an individual's beliefs vary from those instilled in you, then remain true to yourself and stand firm. At times it will be difficult, especially when you are in the minority as opposed to the majority. However, rest assured, you will walk away with your integrity and dignity.

This is a life lesson I share with my two little boys on a daily basis.

Good luck!
