Mine keeps getting stuck. I took the ball out and cleaned the whole thing but it keeps acting up. Should I just get a new mouse?

dude, I used to have the same problem, I found that it was more of a problem with the three little wheels that the ball moves against. I found that there was a build up of gunk on the centre of each of the wheels, get a scalpel or a needle, and lift this off the wheels, and you should be in mouse heaven

I take it you took a pin to the rollers on you mouse after you took the ball out. BIG mistake the pin scratches the rollers so it messes it all up.

Go get your self a new mouse get an optical mouse they are more precise and no need to clean them. Also with an optical you don't need that horrible mouse mat anymore. Optical will track off anything even (like i use mine) on the sofa arm!.

Yes, you should get an optical mouse. I used to have a mouse with the ball, but I got sick of it getting stuck all the time. I ended up buying an optical mouse and have not regretted it.

Take the ball out again and have a look at the little rollers inside the mouse. there should be 3 of them. There is probably a build up of dirt on them. Clean that off and it should be OK.

Nope it is clean and works like a charm.
Mine is a trackball mouse with the ball on top and it works tons better than those dorky ones with the ball on the bottom :)

If it bugs you enough to ask a question about it, then you have already decided to get a new mouse. Try an optical mouse.

No you just need to give the mouses ball a rub from time to time.

get a new one. Get the one with infra red. ojr laser, whichever it is instead of the ball. You don't need a mouse pad for those.

Its not too bad. For once the ball isn't sticky or anything which drives me CRAZY.
Sure, get one of those laser ones. I have one on the other computer and it works.
