Katie seems to be in hot water over at CBS> The powers that be may have made another big boo-boo when they hired her for an unknown-amount of money. Unfortunately, she is out of her depth as a news anchor person. I didn't think much of her when she was on the Today show, and fail to see what her appeal is now. I watched her several times on CBS and gave up. She is not a seasoned reporter; I expect her to "giggle' at a very inopportune newscast and have Matt come over from NBC to rescue her.

Katie has been by a lot over the final 10 years. She lost her husband (who became into the affection of her life) & sister. They the two died of maximum cancers. She has completed superb activities for many cancers examine. She even had a colonoscopy on television to teach relatively everyone how elementary it is so they gained't be petrified of it. Her husband, Jay, died of colon maximum cancers. So what if her smile is slightly 'gummy'. absolutely everyone available superb? If a million/2 people had her smarts, we would not be suffering pay verify to pay verify! i think of extra people will watch CBS information now. She has a large fan base. She is in actual fact ignored on the 'on the instant' teach. She & Matt made a large couple. of direction, i think of Meredith would be fully wonderful. She is a large speaker and has a out of the issue-free humorousness!!! I exceptionally doubt she is hurting for a lot different than for dropping significant different and young ones at early a while. You, "bypass Katie," & rejoice with your new place as a CBS information anchor.

I heard a friend of mine say today that Katie Couric and Oprah Winfrey are the most overpaid women in America. Geesh.....he apparently doesn't think Peyton Manning is overpaid, or any other of our multi-million-dollar athletes and male celebrities! By the way, I'm a 63-year-old male, not a women's libber. -RKO-

I actually like Katie, but I don't like her format or style since she now anchors the CBS news. Her personality and style is more geared towards a daytime morning program or a talk show versus hardcore news coverage. Don't get me wrong, I think she's very intelligent but perhaps a bit, "too perky" for the nightly news...and her ratings since she joined CBS aren't exactly stellar.
