I have sold a phone to someone living in Poland. I have had contact with him and he has sent his payment through Paypal, this is now cleared in my Paypal account. I just wondered if there was any way that he could get that money back leaving me with no phone and no money. I stated on the details that it was a UK auction only but he bid at the last minute and my second chance offer declined. I have the parcel ready to post tomorrow but just wondered if I am safe to post. The money reached my Paypal account on Friday and is definitely clear.

If he says that he didnt receive the phone paypal can then give him his money back.. making your account go into the red.
If i were you i would send it by International signed for post so that you have proof of delivery.

If the money is clear in your account (not pending) he can't get access to it, only you can. Has he paid enough for postage if you had it as a UK only auction? If not, get that cleared with him first otherwise you'll end up out of pocket.
And if you don't want to go through with the sale you don't have to as he has breached the listing terms by bidding when it was clearly stated as UK only, if you don't want to go through with it, log into paypal and click on the 'refund' button on his payment page.

no he can't get the money back.

The only way that he could is if you didn't send the phone and he issued an item not received dispute, then eBay and pay pal would investigate and decide whether you have to pay back the money dependant on whether you could prove that you posted it (hence you should always get a receipt at the post office and send by registered mail)

make sure you have added the correct amount for postage to Poland and that he has paid that as it will cost more to send it abroad.

put the money into your bank account tommorow and make sure you get receipt of postal(proof) , stating what the item is and the postcode it is being sent to , do all that and you ain't got no problem at all , If you do stuff the right way e-bay will back you up . Or just don't go through with the sale , you are well within your rights.

Yes, you are fine. The only way he would be able to get the money back is if you were to refund it via paypal. He cannot access your account.
