Do you ever feel that you have too nice clothes in your closet for them to go to waste and never get to be worn , because of dress policies at work ?

While I don't have this happen to me personally, I like most of what I have to wear to work...
I do see people in my office that would actually look better if they wore jeans and similar...
they try to do that stretch pant and matching long sweater thing (not trendy stretch pants or leggings but, stirrup pants from K-mart circa 1986, the black perma press pants washed a million times and seem to be forever covered in cat hair, with an unironed white cotton shirt...
And all because, while dress codes are helpful, they leave a lot of room for error...all of these clothes mentioned follow the dress code but look like crap...and because they follow the dress code, nobody can say anything...

I certainly wish I could just relax a little and wear jeans to work. Because, honestly, wearing the same kind of clothes after a while- it gets boring. I feel like I could easily lose my own style if I get sucked into the dresscode policy. So I usually accessorize. I have fun pairing up my outfits with jewelry (bracelets,necklaces,earrings,rings, etc) ; nice belts, handbags, shoes, and hair accessories.

My job, although mostly in an office requires jeans, t-shirts (plain or with the company name only) and sneakers and if you don't want to wear that you can order uniforms.........sometimes it gets pretty frustrating

yes! actually mine is the opposite-- I would love to be able to wear jeans to work occasionally! I hate having to dress up everyday.

I am tired of wearing office clothes all the time- I wish I could wear more of my own style..sniff-yeah most of my clothes are dressy dressy..
