I recently found a diamond. I rubbed it across a piece of glass and it left a scratch. Do any of the fake diamonds do this too?
I am going to take to a jeweler this week to have it looked at.

Lab created diamonds also cut glass. Some gemstones, such as white topaz can also scratch glass. Only a jeweler can tell you if its real.

it scratched the glass? then yeah its a diamond.
fake diamonds wouldn't scratch glass.
if the glass scratched it then it's fake. hope it's real!

If its real it should leave a scratch if its fake then i couldnt scratch the glass
