Real football, as in soccer. Not many people here watch soccer, and American soccer sucks, but I prefer soccer over football..

Football by far. You get to see a much more exciting action. In soccer, there might be some exciting action every 20 or 30 minutes of play.
I sometimes watch football, but rarely professional.

I prefer American football; I can't get into soccer. Soccer is very fluid, and the action is very dynamic, but it seems a bit one-dimensional.
Football has very complicated plays, a lot of decisions to be made by the coaching staff, "dirty pool" in trying to psych-out your opponent, and that's even before you get into the individual athletes and how well they master their particular role.
Most of the world loves soccer though, so I probably just haven't gotten enough exposure to it to truly appreciate the sport.

I can't really say which is BETTER. That's a matter of opinion. I don't watch soccer. I love football.
