Are there any newspapers, radio, t.v or internet sources that come close to reporting the facts, that speak truth to power, that do a good job in investigating current issues in a thorough way? If so what are they and why do you think they do this? Give the names of these sources and details as to why or examples.

Corey, you are one misguided fellow. You need to get your information from a variaty of sources and stop listening to the right wing echo chamber of Fox.

That's a very impressive list, Lila.
Admittedly, I get most my news from NPR and the internet, much of that from a conservative website named Real Clear Politics (I don't like their politics much, but I love their format!). I do read some print media, but the time is hard to find!
As far as your question about unbiased reporting, I just assume that everything is slanted towards the publishers' views and judge it through that lens of the publisher's prejudice. I truly doubt that there is such a thing as an unbiased source for Iraqi news since there is absolutely horrendous pressure on the media to paint a picture that is American friendly. The best example of this is that Arabs were complaining stridently about Abu Gharib for a long time, but we never heard a word about the abuse/torture there until Darby had the courage to distribute those pictures. Why didn't the media report the abuse from Arab sources? Because they were afraid of Bush and Cheney. That example tells us all we need to know about the slant of the American media.

If you want the truth, look up official documents.
http://www.iraqwatch.org/government/US/Legislation/ILA.htm
http://www.iraqwatch.org/un/Index_IAEA.html
that site has all documents about Pre-Iraq War stuff.
The only news i watch is Fox News, contrary to what most liberals tell you... its not some crooked right-wing media outlet.
Liberals also say that liberal media is a myth.. tells you about how irrational their denial is... CNN, MSNBC, Washington Post, LA post?
I like Fox the best because, unline CNN and those other ignorant media outlets, atleast Fox tries to enforce the "Fairness Doctrine" without having to listen to the liberals jabber for 20 minutes because whenever Fox talks about a debate between anti-administation people and the Conservatives... they usually have one person represent the conservatives (the host) and then one person support the liberals (the guest)... and then they introduce each groups position on the debate, and then they have a slight debate about it as well.
CNN just has headlines like "Bush allies scramble to stop Iraq policy defections"

I think the best source is the BBC network. It gives you an update on current affairs from around the world without the unnecessary bias commentary.

Lou Dobbs, six eastern on CNN. Lou is an Independent with enough disdain for both political parties to satisfy my requirements of speaking truth to power. In my opinion, he is the only person on television with the interests of the American people at heart. Lou is my hero. I wish all politicians would follow his lead.

Justified to a undeniable volume. You get warnings for no longer something and solutions deleted for stupid reasons. stupid solutions are given votes by employing whoever to get suitable answer and a very logical one gets 'Thumbs Down". The scores are no longer as much as date usually and the final suitable solutions proceed to be the comparable for weeks and weeks. it form of feels it somewhat is being controlled by employing little ones.

I like to read different sources for a more global picture of the world events. A few would be:
CNN
RAND Corporation
The Economist
BBC
Then again, it's not a question of what you read, but what you believe is factual.
