I would go for a dress that matched your hair, but then shoot for jewelry and stuff that goes with your eyes. EX...you have black hair, you buy a sexy black dress, and you have blue eyes. Blue neck lass, maybe even a blue scarf, you know what i mean? When you are buying all the little extra stuff, make sure you don't go overboard, you know what i mean? A bracelet and a necklace and maybe a shawl are really all you need.
Honestly i have found some really good dresses at the retail outlets, you know, Goodwill, those kinda of places. Chances are you will get a super cute dress for about five bucks, which kicks butt when you think about how expensive some other stuff is. For accessories, i would go to Dress Barn, if you have one around you, you know what i mean?

Where something that is Cobalt Blue. Is a trendy colour at the moment and suits most. But lay off the glitter, it sounds a bit to OTT for a graduation.

think would be better since its the summer time. Go to a boutique around your house or a specialty store that sells dresses. there you can find many different designs and dresses. Don't get anything over the top since its graduation not prom so try a short summer dress in pink.

Have some class, don't wear glitter, you're not a hooker. Don't wear pink, you're not a ten year old. I don't want to sound rude but you'll regret wearing those colors later in life, trust me. Wear something elegant, classy, a little black dress, a nice flowing red one, puffy white like a princess. Just think about how you'd like you look, when you think back about it ten years from now.

if you're the one graduating, then if you wear a light color gown you should wear a light colored dress. Alot of schools will tell you what you should wear. if its a dark colored gown then i don't guess the dress color matters nobody'll see it under the gown anyways.

You should wear something that matches your graduation robe if you're wearing one. If not then go with blue.
