Walked (or ran) barefoot across a scorching hot parking lot?

Last July the temps went over 104F/40C for the first time ever here, the sidewalks (I don't drive) were pretty hot one or two days but never so much that I had to run or look for the shady side of the street. One day I came close enough to notice that the other side of the street had shadow just in case I'd need it, but in the end I didn't.

When I was spending time in purgatory because I was rude to other people on Yahoo Answers..
I had to go apologize or Satan was gonna make me do it all day every day for 1000 years....
Actually it's not the heat or the humidity, it's the agonizing burning in your feet that's the difficulty!

last summer - also ran across a flaming hot beach - never knew sand could get so hot lol!

When the same sucker who stole my picture on Yahoo Answers stole my sandals when I was in the deep end of the swimming pool.
And thanks for asking, the skin grafts on the soles of my feet are coming along nicely. I should be ready for more fun in the sun come summer!

Last summer on my holiday in AZ. I was running on the drive way because it was too hot there. I could have gotten sunburned. My feet could have gotten sunburned but it didn't.
