What can i do that will keep my daughter in this state. Where she is going to be moving to is not a good place for a kid to grow up. I've been told there are some law that stop a parent from take a child from it residents. But i don't know what I can do. If she get her out of the state i'll never see her again...

I live in St. Louis Missouri, She will move to Gary, IND.

My advice would be to seek a lawyer behind her back right away. There is no knowing that your girlfriend could just pick up and leave. I would find out your rights because the mom just cant walk away with your child. I dont know the laws down there, but in canada that would be considered kidnapping. I would file for custodu or half custoday or whatever you want, and then she cant go anywhere. Hope that helps and good luck. Just remember you have to think of your child thru out this whole situation. If you dont want anything bad to happen i would act quick!

Who would PURPOSELY move to Gary, Ind?!?! If the courts won't do something, maybe child protective services will! Hell, I roll up the windows and lock the doors when driving through Gary! I don't even do that in Detroit!

Seriously though, if you want to keep your daughter close, hire an attorney!
