I am addicted to sport fishing. Are there any fresh water places to fish in the Philippines? If so, what kind of fish? Thanks in advance for your replies!

Try Lake Caliraya. I'm more into saltwater fishing, but I've heard Lake Caliraya is nice.

If you decide to try salt water fishing there are a lot of places. San Vicente in Cagayan, Luzon is great for dorado, wahoo, and sailfish starting approx in April. I've caught 5 spanish makrel / wahoo (all ca. 25lbs) this year already in Busuanga.

we have a lot of fresh fishing in the philippines but most of the fishes are introduced species like tilapia. native species are quite small and difficult to catch except by the use of nets.
