They were on the verge of trading Corey to the Kings for Artest, but the trade was soon in disagreement. By the way he's playing now, I don't think he'll get traded. There's now a rumor that Maggette and Livingston will be traded to the Nets for Vince Carter, which sounds unrealistic. I doubt Mike Dunleavy would trade a good Corey Maggette and a gorwing Shaun Livingston for the star Vince Carter, because of the Clippers' potential in these players. Livingston is averaging nine points, three rebounds, and five assists per game. Maggette is currently putting up good stats, averaging sixteen points and six rebounds a game. In the last game, Maggette played for 26 minutes and scored 10 pts, 6 reb, 4 ast, and 2 stl. Also not to mention in the game before that, he scored nineteen points. I think if he keeps on getting fairly good games, Dunleavy and Maggette may be able to settle the tension between them and Corey can have even better games.
