have new website, want to put a picture on it ,it is asking for url of pic how do i do it.?

on my new website i want to put on a image from my computer onto it but it is asking for the url address of image from the internet, how do i get a url for my image so i can put it on my website. anybody that understands this please because i cant understand why i cant put it on from my pictures on my computer but it wont let me, i need the url for the picture, please help.

Hi there, it's a bit strange, but if your picture is called thepicture on your hard disk in a folder called pictures for example, and the image type is a jpeg, Then try entering c:\pictures\thepicture.jpg as the URL. Hope that helps :) [e-mail]
