I think Farve is great but green bay won't let him retire without a fight i think rogers must feel a lack of trust form the packer organization

Farve still wants to play and clearly Green Bay thinks that with Farve still wanting to play he has a better chance to win rather than Rogers. They might also think that with Rogers watching he will be good by the time he gets in to play. Much like Philip Rivers.
