Probably within the next 100 to 200 years, possibly less. I heard recently scientists have found a way to create and harness the power of blackholes. They are saying that if they can create a large enough blackholes and learn to control and use them in an effective and safe manner, it will greatly improve our ability to explore deep space. They're saying blackholes can be used to power spacecraft and even terrestial vehicles - it's going to become the answer to our current travel fuel problems.
