I was out last night with work colleagues and a girl who I work with said she wanted to clear the air (I thought everything was ok). She said to me:
She wants us to get on - at work and outside
Told me that I should drop the 'attitude'
She wants to trust me and hopes that I don't back stab her e.g. talk about her behind her back
She wants us to get to know each other better
Meaning???
When we're alone we find it difficult to talk to each other and it goes silent ASAP.(happened today at work!)
Each time we talk, I find it more uncomfortable/difficult as I don't know what to say!She's asked if I'd go to her birthday bash in a few weeks - I don't know what to say???
Why did she feel the need to 'clear the air'???
Suggestions?Advice?
p.s. she has a Boyfriend of 2 YEARS.Colleagues say we have a love/hate WORK relationship and that we do flirt with each other-but it don't mean nothing!
Says she don't do 1 night stands - I don't believe she fancies me.........

There is tension bwt us-don't know what it is-colleagues have also noticed it.

Sounds like she does like you but doesn'nt. She wants the attention from you as if you were flirting but does'nt. you know what its like. Want someone, but know you cant!. She is looking for a positive response from you to let her know she can "still do it" and she does like you.You must get on as your freinds say you have a love hate relationship, WHAT DO YOU THINK BEING MARRIED IS!!!!!

maybe you are a supervisor or experienced and picked her up on a few minor things @ work and she feels a criticism a bit petty so she wants to clear the air & not get in your pants .... long silences very rarely a come on!!

It is all about communication. Wrong communication leads to a wrong understanding and act. Good communication leads to a good understanding and act also relationship. Communication men and women is seems to be twice harder than talking to same gender. Hmm...... I have read a book. Its good. Men is from Mars and Women is from Venus. Read it. It's real thing.
