MLB has no plans to play regular season games in Europe. About three seasons ago, following the closure of the Montreal Expos franchise, that team played a number of games in Puerto Rico (which is much closer to the mainland US) and this was hugely unpopular, particularly with visiting teams, because of the amount of travel involved. Therefore it's extremely unlikely that they will come to Europe.

Additionally, baseball doesn't have the following in Europe that American Football has; its popularity is more in Japan and Far East Asia. (There are plans for some pre-season games to be played in Tokyo, possibly in 2008).

It looks as though it might be 2008 now but talks are still ongoing. If the NFL game goes well then no doubt MLB will come in '08.

It became into large in concept, yet no longer each team has a organic rival like the Sox/Cubs or Yanks/Mets. Having an imbalance between the two leagues makes scheduling slightly extra extraordinary in my opinion, as nicely. upload to that the shortcoming of the nostalgiac experience and that i thoroughly accept as true with the flow. each so often much less is extra simply by fact the previous cliche is going.

MLB would never have a reguar season game there. As baseball is played almost every day from April - September. Football can, as they have a bye week.
