I know that most be kinda tough having an alcoholic friend, and well most people who drink a lot don't see that they have a problem although other people can see it. And well most people don't like to see the fact that what they are doing is effecting themselves as well as their friends/family. And as they may see it as is, "well everyone else is doing it, so why shouldn't I'. And then they begin to think that is what they should do, and sometimes get hooked on it. And well I think that is really good that you have tried to tell her that she has a problem with drinking, and well all you can do is just pray for her and hope that one day her eyes will be opened and see that what she is doing is really bad and is affecting her, her friends/family. I hope everything turns out well. Best wishes.

Talk to her and tell her how you feel and what she is doing to her self. You have to wait till she admits really other wise she wont want help. You could get her to have a liver test done and see what the out come is. Maybe a doctor tell her the extent her liver damage is in front of you could help, you could then remind her now and then. you sound like a great friend but she needs to help herself too. Get her to go see the doctors or get info off the net and give it to her to read.
There are some website i have got, i hope they can help your Friend. Good luck

She already knows she has a problem without being told. You can just be a friend try and empower her in to taken action but sadly no doctor, organisation, counsellor will do her any good unless she wants to stop herself.

Tell her straight out. YOUR KILLING YOURSELF!!!
Threaten not to be her friend... Though thats not the best way to help. Just be there for her. You can't get her help she needs to make the dission on her own.
