I aquired a coin during my tour in Iraq... i have not doubt of its authenticity, but i would like to know its value. its roughly the size of a palm of a small hand and a 1/4 inch thick. i know it is made of copper. what am i looking at here?

You did not give enough info here. I need to know what is on both sides. That part of the middle east has been under the control of many nations. Even Alexander the Great made a visit. It was also a trade center for many centuries. It started to go down hill after WW I. will it fit in a slot machine because coins really don't have any value unless they are gold or roman or something that old.
