at wut size do convict cichlids breed? i got 4 of them about 1.5" - 2.5". they're in a 55 gallon with a clay pot

As I said before, I've had them spawn at about 1 1/4 inches (and I've bred them through 5 generations), so yours are already breeding size. Just be sure you have at least one of each gender - males are more blue-purple with longer pointed dorsal fins, females have shorter, rounded dorsals and orange-pink coloration on the abdomen.

every physique will probable say "blue" fish, yet i'm quirky and could say new fish, or purple fish smoked fish,or purple fish cooked fish, final yet not least purple fish stunk like fish!

first off it's a bad idea to breed convict's. unless thats all you plan to have. also watch because the female will slowly kill off all the males

as long a they arnt realy small they should breed.
do u know if u have male and females. (females get orange and green coulering)

also they are very teritorial and aggressive so you will need more than one plant pot as they need lots oh hineing places

Trust me guy, you have done all you can do at this point. Dont get frustrated, some take longer than others.
