Depends on your grade level. My son (fifth grade) just did one where he compared whether batteries in the refrigerator last longer than ones kept in the drawer.

Show how most of the hazardous chemicals can be neutralized . Example
HCL bad acid
Caustic soda bad base
Mix together to obtain a PH 7 ,and if u did your work correctly u could drink it. It is just table salt and water .
This the way Mother nature neutralizes things and the reason the ocean is salty.

Okay, this may sound like a grade-school project, but it's easy and you get effecient results. You gather different brands of paper towels and see which one absorbs better. Record your resutls, take pics of the experiment and conduct a sample experiment in front of the science class or science fair audience, whatever the occasion.

i know one it is to mack a battery by hand and Huck it to a light bulb and get it to light up
