Pounding sand is a technique used in martial arts for toughing of the hands, to break boards or bricks and for other type of actions. So when you hit some one, it does not hurt your hands. They may mean you are to sensitive about some things and you may need to toughen up a little.

(ideal now, i'm hating my chum GK for taking my answer.) besides, i've got in no way been instructed to bypass pound sand yet I even have been instructed to bypass leap in a lake. i'm not shore what meaning the two. poll: sea coast. Who has ever heard of catching some solar and surf on the "shore?" could be a ideal-coast thang. Technically, I constantly concept the shore (as in "shore-line) replace into the place the water met the "sea coast." Haha, oh nicely.

I pounded the sand so hard it formed glass. I made the glass into a glass! I serve strong margaritas to floozies in this glass. Like one?
