Does anybody know what episode 11 is about or why it wouldn't be on the dvd? It's been to long since I watched the show on tv & I don't remember this particular episode.

They show that episode on Toon Disney all the time. The Marvel Comics theory is flawed since "Mole Men" have been a science fiction standard since the late 1800's and are well within the public domain.

More than likely the reason it was not included was the fact that it would cost too much to get clearance from Dan "Homer Simpson" Castenella, who guest starred in this episdoe as the Mole King. At the time the episode was first done, video rights were new, and DVD's did not really exist. Now that Castenella is a much more well known and well paid voice actor. It seems like he may want a larger peice of the pie for his involvement in what could be a very lucrative DVD release.

I think Disney released the DVD without ep 11 in order to gauge interest and to see if it would be worth the money and profitable to pay Castenella for his involvement in a later release. This would also boost sells on the final DVD set, as that season is shorter and would benifit from having a "lost episode" on it.
